  2. Do you mean for a Ducati or all Sportsbikes... Or both?

Looks, as always are subjective. Remember the 749/999? Which I liked immediately and bought one. I've always liked the looks of the Panigale V2 but never felt tempted to buy one as I didn't consider any of them trumping my 1098R. But I think the V4 has moved the game on in terms of electronics and performance. For the first time in 10 years I thought 'I'm having one of those' Time will tell but I'm hugely confident I'll like it.

  3. Looks are subjective and tastes do change.i saw a V4 speciale at cadwell the other day and that looked better but the plain red one does nothing for me at all

  4. I’ve got a V4 and I admit the 1299 looks better overall, although I think the V4 looks better than the 1299 from the back, from the front it’s a draw to me but from the side the 1299 wins.
Saying that the V4 is still the best looking of the 2018 superbikes.

I’m also sure the latest RSV4 is a great bike, my older one was and I’m sure things have only gotten better with the RF, it seems most of the people on here who’ve ridden one only have high praise for the Aprilia, they can be a nightmare for dealer backup and servicing though and if I’m honest I don’t like their latest paint schemes nearly as much as the more traditional red/black ones.
