  4. A red card would be devastating...

Then again, sometimes, a red card is a necessary evil, as justice has to be made. It’s a matter of honor. :D

  8. That's the beauty with no crowds watching in the stands, we can hear every impact on the pitch.:dizzy:

  9. We had a French commenter on the side of the field, Saturday in Twickenham (Benjamin Kayser, former player in the French team). He mentioned how incredibly loud the impacts were during that specific game. Kayser, as a former talonneur (hooker?) isn’t the soft kind... Still, nobody was injured. Those players are really providing an out of this world physical performance, for the sake of the game.

    I deeply admire that.

  10. I can agree that the hits have got bigger and more spectacular, but the physicality of the game has lessened considerably, I speak as an almost ex player a 6 that converted to hooker
We have lost proper scrum, there is no rucking nobody gets away with a slap let alone a full on punch, these players now might be bigger and faster but they are pretty soft compared to the guys who are commentating, Martin J, Bayfield, Lawrence, Ugo, Brian Moore would have most of the current crop running home to mummy, the game is being changed for telly might make it good to watch but as a player its becoming far too PC

  11. If your not man enough in the modern version perhaps this is the game for you then.;) a04912986425fb3f7a76978e58a7cdf57b3a4b09cdf6c8835293aa5f69edf4cc-rimg-w520-h296-gmir.jpg

  12. Cant agree with you there Kato, I remember reading a stat some time back that before the pro game took off, on average there was an injury every 11 games now it’s 11 minutes. Pro players are so much bigger and so much faster these days the hits now are phenomenal.

  13. With three matches on today at 14.15 / 16.45 / 20.00 probably only the last two games worth watching,Imo.
