That game represents a great advertisment on how exciting the sport can be when both teams are trying.
And all the heartache, pain and suffering of England loosing (even thought they deserved to) was suddenly gone You gotta love the French Brice Dulin should be knighted
Interestingly enough, our sports media mentioned this game and the England-France one last weekend, as huge advertising for rugby in general to the masses. That’s promising for the future. More great teams and competition. And yes, Brice Dulin is amazing. His rugby career is totally unorthodox. The way he has now become a major contributor in this new French squad is a message of hope for many a player. He is a remarkable ambassador for outsiders.
The French are playing exciting rugby again which has been long overdue for many in France & overseas fans, let's hope they stay focus for 2023 as that could be their year, as a English supporter i'd have no issues with that result.
No no no finm me lad. The glorious English will always be etched in history as the only country on earth to win the World Cup in football, cricket and rugby. So just digest that. And chill
Italians are not that far from being a team that win games. They have improved a lot in the past 10 years. It’s just that the other teams have improved a lot more and a lot faster.
And what do you guys think about Barnes influence on the game as a TMO? We are still very unsure about his objectivity, to be honest, especially when referring Wales. Pearce is top notch, but Barnes? I’d say 50% of the celebration after yesterday’s win is due to flipping a gigantic finger to Barnes...
Wayne has been the benchmark for years now in the refereeing world, and the odd tiny mistake is ok by me.
And you now have understood that the French for Wayne must be Barnes. Right. Good grief, I do not age well...
