So, what did he say? Has been nothing in the press here about what he said, only that an allegation has been made. Did he call him a colonialist?
Curry was caught on ref cam asking the ref what to do as the hooker had called him a white c*nt. ref said he’d handle it and did nothing. Boks online are saying he said whit kant, which means white side after they lost a scrum…. Seems a tad convenient and yes, if curry called him a black c*unt imagine the outcry and he’d probably be banned from rugby for good.
What is it they say "a good f**k is the most overrated thing in this world and a good sh*t the most underrated"
Don’t mention the bloody cricket. I’m still fuming about Saturday. Buttler wins the toss then goes “It’s 36 degrees, 100% humidity, the air is full of pollution, the ball seems to move around more at night and at least one of our top bowlers has the squits…… I know, let’s have a bowl first.” So not only did we get absolutely battered, the whole team will be utterly shagged now.
Post 265 has the answer, but do you remember a footballer calling a black player on the pitch many years ago that he was a black c***, it's ok as it turns out he said Black Cat.
Sounds a little bit "he said, she said" at that point then unless he was overheard. But is still being investigated right? So might yet be some repercussions…
And that’s what it’ll boil down to. But had the allegations been the other way about, the legal documents would be about 6 feet high now - and climbing…. Not to mention the MSM hysteria
It seems unlikely that he was hurling racial abuse at another player right in front of the ref. The two saffers in our cricket team WhatsApp group also said that the ref mic picks him up shouting it 3 or 4 times in quick succession, which sounds more like an instruction to team mates than an insult. You can just about hear it over headphones during the last ruck before the kick to touch. https://twitter.com/LynchCoach/status/1716693569023426987
If the on field officials are only going to pick up racial abuse directed at players of colour, then there is an issue but in all my years of playing club rugby, it was a standard tactic to rile your opponent by calling him names or casting aspersions on his sister/mother in the hope he’ll do something that the referee will penalise. They are grown men ffs, get over yourself, let it wash over you and get on with the game. Andy
I see now social media are criticising Tom Curry and England as sore losers, It's Bongi Mbonambi that walked off after the match with out shaking hands with TC, surely if there's been a misunderstanding with language on the day then Bongi should make a statement regarding this matter with Tom alongside him.
There's nothing else on tonight so i'm gonna watch England beat Argentina for that bronze metal and hopefully TC gets the man of the match award.!
If they perform like the GB cricket team did in their recent match, it’ll be a rout in Argentina’s favour. Andy
Where's the emoji two fingers symbol up your nostrils when you need it. A win is a win, but not pretty.!, as for the TMO again with that forward pass that didn't help matters. Why don't we use our fast wingers like other sides. Courtney Lawes our best player for sure during this tournament for me.
That was OK. Never seen a player thrown up in the air to catch the ball at a line out before - lifted of course, but actually thrown up in the air - that was good. Overall enjoyed watching that game. Some big hits by Argentina, some tries. Another good point about the game is that it didn't have Scotland, Ireland or Wales in it. I wonder where they could have been - perhaps they were not good enough to make it this far
