  1. Sounds like a plan. Just don't down shift agressively until after you get a deal from Andy/ slipper clutch!

  5. There’s a thought! I used to be great at that in 1999 when I bought my 2.0 S Capri. Fab fun in the wet!

  10. Tbf they are bt16 so not much of a fear to get to the edge.

  11. Once you have learnt that , you could start a "back it in with a locked rear wheel class"!

  18. And my first breakdown! Fuel line off and pissing everywhere. And I’d just filled it up. On the uphill of birdlip. Nearly killed me pushing it up - dual carriageway and nightmare for big trucks so down wasn’t an option!

@cookster came to my rescue :upyeah:

And lesson learned: it’s an old bike. I could have taken the seat off, found the clip, put it on and tried to limp home. Too used to modern stuff where tools and an electronics degree are needed to change a filter....

  19. Bugger. Just a simple hose coming off?

  20. Yeah, clip looks buggerred. So it clips on but isn’t holding too well. Just a new clip. Finding one online isn’t easy tho...quick release fuel clip or connection isn’t bringing up what I’d thought
