Nice morning for the brits. Ogden getting away well for once and sticking with the leaders for 90% of the race and more points win prizes for JD96.
Fair play to 93 brave rides after that disgusting high side and was funny watching Morbidelli try it on with him too. What a mistake to make. Another metronomic weekend from Pecco though. Hes like an hour glass how he knocks those laps off, “Il Professore”. Satellite bikes 2and 3rd in the sprint and long races. Has that ever happened before?
if u look the top specs the factory hit 303 whilst gresini 2023 models hit 298-300 that’s a huge difference so mm is having to push extra hard to keep up (Honda and yam are even worse, whilst Ktm April is don’t do too bad)
Great interview with Marquez. https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1...-i-won-day-ill-never-forget-impossible-repeat
Agreed. I mentioned after Qatar that 93 wouldn’t win a race “under normal circumstances” this season and that was largely the basis of my claim - obviously not so much of a speed difference at tracks like sachsenring but still quite obvious from day one of the season.
…that and the fact he couldn’t ride the ducati how it’s intended to be ridden at the time. Getting better but still won’t beat Pecco next year
Oh ive no doubt hell win a race next year, i think Pecco will win the title though. Happy to have a wee bet for charidee of course
Will be interesting to see how MM handles being #2 to Peco next year. Managed to watch the race via the MotoGP site and the commentators are so much better. Sadly with Dorna controlling the world wide feed you still get too much coverage of spanish riders in 7th place for some reason
