Nice ride down even if there was some wet stuff in the air & great to have Jen out on the hypermotard . Not that many there for saying due to the weather looking dodgier than @chizel . Here's a couple of pics I took when I remembered and quite a few people had left [emoji38]
"Had a fab ride-out to the cafe with hubby....had a bit of rain on the way,but a cracking ride there and back!! Was great to see @@chizel and @@Not Carl Fogarty again and have a catch-up,I did see @@Pete1950 from afar, but didn't get chance to say hello.....might go to the other cafe next time, think it's called Jack's Hill?" Great to see you all again ^ Maybe these threads need to be merged with gathering of the clan? Don't want to steal the thunder from today - this was started as an (unrelated) topic. This thread has just rolled on.. I started this to see if any of the guys on Ducatis that go there regular are on here, or anyone in the area popping in. Is it worth dividing up the meet ups section of the forum into regional. South East, East Midlands, Midlands etc... Then locations as they are posted... Sausage Cafe, Jack Hills, On Ya Bike, Boxhill, Ace Cafe < perhaps be too many locations in each region? But then threads can roll?... < perhaps best suited for the ideas section, sorry El T. I noticed Box hill seems to jump out with regular posts but other can get missed.. Jack Hill was recommended to me via Keith, I met at your BBQ Jen. I went recently.. It was an evening thing (once per month) was packed. It had marshalls, bikes using the car park at the back too.. I will probably go to the next one. Apparently they sometime have live bands? There is a bar open. I thought it may have been a hell angels thing, the amount of Harleys but they were no HA that I could see. News & Events | Jacks Hill Cafe • Truck Stop • Biker Cafe • Towcester A5 • Northamptonshire < Bike Night (1st friday of every month?) Jacks Hill Cafe - Timeline | Facebook The sausage cafe today (Gathering the Clan) was no way near as busy today as was on a warm sunny day. I'd say it's was only a 1/3 as busy but good to see so many Ducatis. Higher percentage of Ducatis today than Guzzi/Apprilla on their day (ratio) to other bikes.
