But we all trust you 'cause you're the bloke with Yorkshires one & only Ducati museum. Unless I knew someone personally well -or its a fiver- I don't use family or friends payment option.
I had a customer recently from Sweden who never got his parcel, on checking his house number wasn't showing on his Ebay / PayPal Account but he confirmed it was showing when checking with PayPal - I thought it was just a house name like you sometimes get, or a business address so didn't question it. PayPal told me it wasn't there fault if the customer hadn't filled it in so left both of us potentially out of pocket. HE re checked with PayPal and although he had only ever had 1 address, a previous item had the same fait a few months ago. On investigating PayPal told him they had deleted several addresses on his account with no house number showing. They wouldn't discuss the matter further with me so I ended up footing the losses. After the event I Googled the issue and evidently there is a glitch in the PayPal system that sometimes emits the house number! Wankers so they obviously new this! If it happens again they won't get away with it, but I now question odd looking addresses PayPal verified address doesn't actually mean that in this case, when it's their systems in error! Lucky he was dealing with me in the end and not PayPal as an incorrect address is the buyers responsibility in their eyes
Got to be honest, I've used Friends and Family a few times on here for buying stuff - never had any problems, I'd be wary if it was someone who'd just registered and not seen/heard of them before. But feel like we're all virtual friends here and trust plays a lot. I'd never use it for anything like Gumtree/FB marketplace or ebay mind.
RIGHT @Exige and @antonye - ENOUGH! You are both trolling and if I see anymore, anywhere I will ban you........no ifs, no buts. Understood? And if you don't like it then tough.
