Scooters

  1. Is it any wonder Ducati riders are deemed elitist and therefore piss people off?
Two wheels is still two wheels; they may not be able to ride a 'real' bike or may just get the same buzz we do.
There will always be twonks in a group, regardless of what they ride/do...

  2. Bloody scooters, there is a big scene round here, Wednesday night is always busy with middle aged Malcolm's pootling round. I do think its the middle aged rebelious streak coming out, from when their mum would not let them have a vespa back in the day -'Get yourself a nice little car malc...etc

Never understood why you would hanker after a moped with gears tbh, like riding on a toilet seat imho....:upyeah:

  3. I personally would not get a scooter but when I had a full length plaster on left leg I would borrow a friends vespa (i think), gear change on handle bars right foot braking extreme caution when coming to a halt (topple factor) gave a certain amount of mobility and was a dam sight faster than crutches.

  4. Yeah scooters might be quicker than crutches, but so are these!

  5. That's quite funny for a forum of devotees to a brand that makes almost no concessions to practicality "We have the Mutlstrada sir." Yeah. Right. It's a nightmare getting the luggage on your superbike, but you want to go and ride the Dolomites or the Alps. The Hypermotard will rip your head off on a motorway. God knows where you're supposed to put the luggage on a Diavel. Can't even carry a disc lock on my 999. Practicality? Pshaw!
