If living in London for 23 years has taught me something is that Police Scotland are much more strict than their South East counterparts. I have points in my licence twice out of being caught twice in Scotland. In England I have been caught speeding and other traffic offences many times and never had points. Had to do a course once and several times either a flash of the blues and a “slow down“ as the came alongside or a quick chat. so if you go, be careful. Wouldn’t want to see anyone get nicked.
