Story is.... One fell out He was being interviewed so did it like that Then said its so he can advert his merchandise, bit you can see his eyes. Apparently he hates to when people are interviewed in sunglasses and you cant see their eyes. Still has a fit missus tho
Cant find the pic. But paraphrasing, he says everyone expects him to win because his been in MGP, and he is only coming to win, then in two years go win WSBK, and he never saw this in his horizon bit couldn't get a ride in MGP worthy of him, and Birdy was a man to be reckoned with and serious about winning, like that as a suppose given his appetite and long term winning success with Shakey. Think he was tying to be political and play the PR game. IMHO he failed. Like I say, he always comes across as a decent lad, a bit of a boy, and someone you'd like to share a few beers and the track with
I thought he said he was above going to BSB? . How soon will he start whinging about no rear end grip like he has constantly for the last couple of years ? . Birdy will out him after his first season . Good luck to him though!
He thinks he had it tough. He will get a huge wake up call if he doesn't win, from the get go, in Paul Bird's team. I might be wrong but him and Danny Kent seem like whiners to me.
New bike v4 never going to win first year of racing . Not with zx10rr tried and tested with good rider on it,Glenn Irwin. going to be tough I reckon for Scott
I think it would be a mistake to underestimate him. As Hodgson said at the weekend Moto GP is on a whole different level to BSB. Even the boys running around at the back of the field are class riders. Yes, he has a job on his hands, learning new tracks, new bike and new tyres, but he's won at 125GP and Moto2 and he's beaten Marquez before in a fair fight, there's not many riders that have done that. Also three of the top BSB riders Byrne, Haslam and Dixon won't be there next year. Good luck to him. Having said all that I would love to see Tommy Bridewell win it with Moto Rapido!
He will have multiple excuses for 2019 New bike it's being developed New circuits Different tyres And that old chestnut lack of rear wheel grip Wonder which one will be used the most
