  1. So how do you reckon to do the Ireland route?

Its about 4 hours Belfast to Cork, motorway.

  2. It doesn't involve ferry crossings, is shorter and with better roads.

But as @cherod says Ireland isn't difficult, I have driven and cycled there.

  3. I know, I usually just head to an airport.

  4. well so would i,, but not on a biking trip

  5. Can you take a Multistrada as hand luggage ;)

  10. I have been that way in May time, (Long Time ago) and it was pretty good weather, frosts in the mornings though.

  11. Come up the scenic route. Late spring early summer is often the best and most reliable time of year. There are three thresholds in Scotland, north of the central belt, north of the Great Glen and north of Ullapool, each one just gets better.

  13. Tempting in its way. But for the same expenditure of time, mileage, money, and petrol we could get to the Black Forest, the Alps, or the South of France. Hmmm, let me see, hard choice to make - where would I rather spend my hols: the arctic regions of Caledonia or the South of France?

  14. cool. see you soon then. :upyeah:

  15. Think of the Scottish culture, history and scenery. They talk a bit funny, but a few hand gestures will get you by
