No worries, it didn’t bother me in the slightest (neither did the Nuke), just thought, after reading this thread, perhaps something else was going on I think you’re probably right. We’re all getting older and perhaps need to go up anther 1/2 on the reading glasses

I’ve had an oddly placed ‘disagree’ rating today… and looking at the user account that ‘disagreed’ with my post, his ‘last viewed thread’ was this one, about the bizarre ratings
When reading a thread the ratings banner is, or should be, lightly greyed out, indicating it's not active, and scrolling over that part of the screen has no effect. To activate the banner & initiate a rating you need to give a single firm press (for a very short period). And I reckon some touch screens and/or their browsers are not seeing a distinction between these two states. So scrolling can initiate ratings without the users knowledge.
started off as a joke but now thinking that O.P. might have a point as recently seen many disapproving awards by at least 3 people who i feel i know well enough to know that they would not have awarded them casually - some clever hacker has got into people's accounts maybe?
I’ve had a few more today as well nuke and lock thread mostly and they are also from members that wouldn’t normally do that like ducv2
I've just gone into my history for the last couple of days, and I've been locking and nuking left right and centre. There is definitely a ghost in the machine here, I've gone back a couple of days and removed all of the ratings, but its not funny anymore and that toolbar needs to get booted.
Check the ratings you’ve given as I’ve noticed you’ve given a lot of red X disagrees lately to all sorts of things.
After reading @ducv2 post above, I checked mine last night, I went back for a few days, it looks like I've been a right cunt Removed all the dodgy ones that I could see This issue is not good
Yep, defo a bug in the system, when I check mine profile, it appears I've been randomly saying things are "useful" and "thanks" to all kinds of threads.
