They never get jobs in industry invariably because the greater proportion are no where near as good as they think they are. I've worked with a few of the friendless ones who, almost without exception, are so far more knowledgeable & gifted than the rest of us that I've always suspected they have little desire to consort with those who work on a much lower plane. You know the type, they have their own take on clothing & no concern for day to day happenings but do have a couple of degrees plus an MPhil and an ability to complete the Times crossword in their heads. And it must be said, I have to doff my cap to the latter because at least they are ploughing their own furrow with errr... style rather than fashion.

How many people scroll on their hand held device using their right thumb ? The rating emoji banner is positioned right where your thumb contacts the screen. It seems to me, the banner has become more sensitive to unintentional contact. Andy
I can only comment for an iPhone user browsing with Safari but for me the ratings banner is not sensitive to a light push up of the screen with the RH thumb (I just tried to accidentally nuke your post - no can do) it has to be a firmer press and hold for the rating to be selected.

It’s curious he’s locked his profile since he became the topic of conversation. AFAIK in order to rate others posts one must have subscribed. It makes me think of that charlatan wannabe barrister Ozzie troll who keeps joining bike forums under false IDs just to create havoc
