You shoul look at the tank pad on e bay, the red one with the white stripe on it, looks class fitted.
Re the Keihan exhausts Carl I would buy them, they are fantastic quality in fact I had to double check the prices as I thought they would be over twice the price. The sound from them is reallyseventies race bike in fact I run them with the db killers inserted. I also made my own hangers usin ss bar for that discrete look.
re Dyno time Yes firstly I have to find a performance ECu reflash to remove the o2 sensor, then I will purchase a wasp puk or similar get a power commander and to me the engine is sorted. exhaust should be here in a few weeks then in march filter, commander and dyno time. Re tank pad gel, I had already ordered one. What wheels are you running there as longer term I would like some lighter wheels, not sure to go with the spoke variety or forged. I sure the price and convenience will decide, but that's likely to be the end of the year as I have other projects to spend what cash I have left on. Ciao
I wouldn't bother with the wasp kit, I didn't gain any more power, my bike has Termi pipes and ECU, and after fitting the wasp kit didn't gain anything, I've had several emails with Greg and Todd over this but things had went dead at there end, so don't waste your money, better off buying another ECU and playing about with timing instead of the power commander if your wanting more power
I wonder if I sell the sport classic, Monster Evo and the Pani S I might just afford a nice RC 45 lol
On the rollers at the back wheel 86whp, after several emails to Greg and Todd I got new maps to try, the dyno guy managed to get his rollers calibrated to be the same as what WASP use, the bike managed 96whp with the Termi and ECU and with the WASP kit and new maps bike achieved the same, fuelling was running 15/1 after 6000rpms but the dyno guy managed to get it down to 13/1, not really any gains but you get a good induction noise from the cone filters, dyno jet figures are usually higher than standard rolling road figures which we had seen, WASP claim 100whp with there kits but if you have TERMI and ECU no further gains
Spot bollock on chap! If I sold all my bikes I would feel that I'd given up? Even if you can only ride it occasionally and only for short runs - keep it! Knowing you have it there is reason enough
Removed the front wheel for a new tyre, removing the spindle and thought what's all this oil? Bloody fork seals are gone , forks off now for a refresh , better finding it now than in the middle of a ride.
