  1. We get it. You don't like Rossi.

And you're wrong about nobody else seeing it coming. The whole world saw it coming. Except you. And Marquez apparently.

  2. Well,
    • Rossi has stirred something in Marquez alright. I agree that Marquez put an awful lot of effort into that battle, simply because of what went on in the pre race press conference. Rossi's attempts to keep Marquez 'Honest' have backfired in a big way.
    • So if you tire of someone, is doing what Rossi did acceptable?

  3. Actually, I really don't mind Rossi, I just see through the facade. You however seem happy to see what you want to see.

"The whole world saw it coming".......I have been working over the last few days and haven't been about much, could you point me in the direction of the posts that said Rossi was going to take Marquez out? By yourself or anybody else will do, I'll read with interest.

  4. I’ve been a Rossi fan since his early days in the 125s .i have to add that I’m not one of the Rossi “fans” that hate all his rivals and hurl all sorts of abuse at them, I will never understand their mentality and frankly they are an embarrassment.

Was Rossi in the wrong? Yes and if it had been any other rider there would have been a black flag no question, was Marquez to blame? I don’t think so he may have been fired up after Rossi made the comments about him (surely he would have let Lorenzo win in Phillip Island if that was the case) and yes Marquez made some hard moves today but as it’s been said before its moto gp not a knitting competition!but Rossi overstepped the mark(no pun intended!)

If Marquez wasn’t helping Lorenzo before, who could blame him for giving Rossi a hard time this time.

Some folk on here are saying Marquez put his head on Rossi’s leg deliberately I don’t buy that, looking at it in slow motion he may have brushed it against his knee but hey it was close racing and racers often brush against each other during battle it certainly didn’t warrant Rossi doing what he did.

It’s such a shame Rossi put the boot in as it were, as Valencia was going to be epic, and although Lorenzo is the better rider now and was favourite for the title anyway, there was always a chance Vale could have pulled something out of the bag.

  5. Honestly think it looked worse than it was because of the 'long hard stare'. Rossi is right about MM riding for Lorenzo, maybe he should have made less of an issue of it and rode his own race..he wasnt allowed to though. The events in the race before the incident need to be looked at more closely.
MM, JL and VR didnt make themselves look good today, not just a Rossi incident IMO.
Pedrosa had the right response when he saw the footage, he just shrugged.

  6. just seen the post race interviews..no rossi makes for interesting viewing

  7. I didn't say that Rossi was gonna take MM out. My point was that I thought you could guess that VRs tactic (from his positioning) was that he was gonna push MM out to the side to unsettle him. MM tried to force his was back in. He failed and paid the price.

And btw I have no allegiance to either VR or MM. I just like good racing.

  8. Yes, although I'd have preferred a wedgy in front of the cameras in Parc ferme as the icing on the cake

  9. Post 150 onwards [emoji6]

  10. I'd agree with the majority of that.
    • Marquez is certainly riding for Lorenzo now, I think it was debatable in Australia, but I think Marquez is now mighty p*ssed off with Rossi.
    • Rossi never meant for Marquez to hit the deck, just got annoyed and ran him out. He'd have a hell of an aim to hit his Marquez's brake lever with his knee, however he shouldn't have put himself in this situation.
    • Lorenzo should have involved himself in the podium celebration and let the officials deal with the incident. He looked petulant today. He could take a leaf from Rossi's PR book alright.
    • I do like Dani, glad to see him back.

  11. I agree :)

  12. Yes, Dani is probably Mr Professional tbh. Had started to write him off, hope he can repeat current form in 2016.

  13. I like good racing too, I was loving that battle until it came to a head. It was Phillip Island on steroids. If I wanted boring racing, I'd watch Formula 1.

Reverse the positions, Marquez is on the inside and forces Rossi out. Rossi hits the deck, loses 20 points to Lorenzo and is 2nd in the championship. Some people on here would be going mental with Marquez, calling for him to be pubicly flogged and banned for the next 3 seasons, yet Rossi is above reproach. That's my point really.

  14. Well despite all the pontificating by the " fan boys " ( what a rediculous term , surely out of some teenage girls magazine ). And the haters , whoo seem will never agree , the incident has been judged by their own peers and fellow profesionals and they come up with the view that although rossi was guilty of some missbehavour so also was mm ,,,,, most of us , if not " the whole world " know. Just what that was . I suspect that they also feel that the little twat got what he deserved and tho rossi could not get away with his missdemeanour a punishment which would have totally ruled him out of the championship would have been also unaccptable and unfair. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, can someone answere the q about relevant finishing positions in valencia

  15. Ahh, public flogging. 1 vote for lol

  16. When I first saw the incident live (then several replays from different angles) I too thought that Rossi was completely at fault and deserved to have the book thrown at him. But then slo-mo footage emerged and having seen variants of that, to my mind it was MM that had made the first move to unsettle VR but VR reacted and finished it. I don't think anyone has come out of this situation well, except perhaps DP. JL made himself look a petulant child too and should have just stayed out of it all.

However just for a bit of light hearted fun here's a pic just nicked from Facebook.

  17. i agree would love him to win the moto gp title he has had a lot of bad luck in the past and would certainly be a worthy champion, his comments in the post race interview saying that Rossi should have attended were spot on

  18. One thing for sure, I would rather MM or Pedrosa won the title than Jlo. Showed his true colours today and he is an unpleasant character.
