  1. Maybe they feel Marc's penalty was to score no points. That doesn't bother Marc though, he's not even in the championship. What they've done is rule quick judgment on Rossi to appease the mass outrage that happened in the heat of the moment. Now that people have had time to digest all of the video's and info, people see that Rossi has been wronged.

Maybe the rule about appeals needing to be lodged within 30mins of the ruling, is too fast.

  2. As I said before, on the side video on BT sport it did look like deliberate hoofing off, but the more angles they showed the more it looked like running him wide and then MM hitting VR which caused MM to fall off. I think the right side video on the link above confirms that but its happened, the penalty is there so VR can look back and say yeah he was stupid to run him so wide, even more stupid to start the fight in the press conferences before as they really stirred it up and didnt help.....

  3. Actually a very good point, this will continue.
    • Marquez and Rossi are the biggest names in the sport with huge egos
    • Marquez has nothing to lose by toying with Rossi in Valencia. He obviously doesn't want him to win the title now.
    • I can see fireworks in Valencia between these two
    • Next season will be very interesting as you have to say Marquez should be a good bet for the title. Will Rossi be looking to give it back to Marquez, you bet !

  4. Not only did he do what alot of peoole would have wanted to do , he did what alot of people wanted HIM to do ,,,,,,,,,,mighty shit mouse got what he deserved ,,,,, if yoiu want to play with the big boys then toughen up ,,,,,,,,,, one thing for sure , if , as rossi says , mm did not have the respect for him that he claims then he sure has now !!!!

  5. What makes Marquez exciting, like Simocelli was, is his idgaf attitude to everyone on track. Normally only seem in 600 supersport racing.

  6. So he did do it then? Make up your mind.

  7. Did what ???? ,,,,,,, that seems to be your problem , what he certainly diid do was move mighty shit mouse out of the equasion ,, whither he deliberatly made him crash is the problem which some , seemingly your self included ,, but interestingly not the stewards , are having trouble with

  8. No trouble from my point of view. Yes he hung him out with the intent of stopping him mid corner. Hence the looks to make sure he was right in his way. Marc saw red and accelerated, leant on him to tough it out and rossi's foot caught his lever. Not intentionally, just as a result of body position and lean. Marquez himself said it was his brake activating that had him off.

At the point rossi's feels him on his knee and pushes out, he's looking forward to drive hard out of the corner as he knows at that point he's caused him to practically stop. He could not have known his foot was touching his brake from feel alone. Just an instinctive (and yes, pissed off) push with his knee.

None of which is against the rules.

  9. The stewards made him start at the back of the grid in the next race. This is the 2nd time I've asked you why if they think he did nothing wrong. You never answered the 1st time. Although you posited a theory it was to keep Huewen and Ryder happy

Your quote was "Not only did he do what alot of peoole would have wanted to do". So what did he do ? You said it.

Debate isn't about personal insults or calling the person you think is in the wrong "shit mouse". It comes across as very childish. (Debate - A formal discussion on a particular matter, in which opposing arguments are put forward)

  10. i certainly didn't want Rossi to do what he did, i can understand why he did it, but it was a big mistake and has now ruined what was going to be a fantastic finale at Valencia..

  11. I don't understand how his brake lever could have been activated... looked more like as VR's leg moved forwards relative to MM as MM slowed after the headbutt charge it caught his clip on flicking VR's leg and breaking traction for MM at the front.

I still don't really get what the penalty points are for, any thoughts? What will happen in qualifying.... Rossi rides out then rides at reduced pace on racing line to stuff JL's flying laps?

  12. Because they can't been seem to let Rossi off. Simple as that really. Half expect the situation to change once it all calms down.

Imagine the 'Rossi bigger than the sport?!' Headlines.

Will be a test of if he's bothered. He'll rude hard hoping Jlo falls off, or he won't bother. Depends how petulant he feels and how much he believes his own press about his status

  13. MM is afkn shit mouse , i would have thot that any bike race enthusiast ( or any sports fan ) would have been well pissed off by his antics tyesterday and that he got his cumupence , that does not in anyway imply that rossi iintentionally made him crash , ( just that mm could not handle the situatuion that he got himself into ) ,,,,,, for the " second time ". My take on it is that Rossi was " punished " in as lenient a way as possible which would placade the howling sensationalisim which sprung up ( fed by the two clowns on BT ). In the immediate aftermath before the real situation became clear .... Clear now ? Ps , i dont think that i have insulted anyone who is / has been involved in the discusion , have left that to others .

  15. Don't know the exact how, but the team are saying front brake and they have the data to look at. Doesn't really matter exactly how anyway.

Penalty points were given because they were forced into it by the uproar. Same way bankers are getting longer prison terms than rapists and murderers. The public outcry at the time meant the had to come down swift and strong.

Rossi can't influence qualifying too much as there is a rule about posting slow sectors in qualifying. No such rule in the race which is why MM gets away with dropping back to Rossi to play.

  16. Have you seen the headlines on BT Sports own article. "Rossi Kicks Marquez". That's slander. I'd sue. Not what you should expect front the company with the rights to the sport

  17. If the MotoGP Title was between Rossi and Dani this would be so much easier to understand.

  18. If Rossi was punished the same way as bankers he would have got off scot free!
