  9. Personally I think Rossi will get pretty far up the order at Valencia but Lorenzo will get enough points to win. Vale will retire from Motogp and get an 1199 in WSB.

  10. Ozz...*shake*...Ozz...*shake*...OZZ WAKE UP ITS TIME FOR WORK!!

  11. Yeah you are probably right. He did go well on the standard 1198 when he tried one whilst (trying) riding for Ducati Motogp....

  12. Maybe Wilf can sign him...he's such a fan ;)

  13. Let's all be happy MotoGP hasn't descended to the dangers of F1. Rosberg could have killed Hamilton

  16. I've had an idea:
The only problem for the championship is that Rossi has to start at the back of the grid. in Valencia.
Perhaps all the other riders up to MM, Pedders and Jorge at the sharp end could just let him through to finish the the championship in style. After all, it's not really their fight.
Then we could get a proper dénuement to the season.
In the meantime, Crazy Joe can hold up the front runners for a lap or two to let Rossi rejoin the fray.
The paying public will get the fight they want, Rossi will get a fair crack at the whip.

I suggest a Twitter campaign with #LetRossiThrough. Make enough tweets with this and the other riders will see and get the idea.

Everyone's a winner as MotoGP is a winner when there is some excitement in the final race. Otherwise, the penalty has somewhat killed it.

I really don't care much if the penalty was deserved or not. It's pretty much 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. I just think that VR was very ill-advised to kick up a shit storm in the pre-race press conference. Had he not done so, not much of this would have happened.

  17. That is terrible behaviour by Hamilton.

You won you bitch - why insult the other guy?

I'm glad the best man won (and wanted Lewis to win but I detest Dick Dastardly tactics - like MM).

What an insult? Regardless of the history between them it's cool if you can be cool in victory.

  18. Uh?
All LH did was bung his team mate his cap..Jeesus...he was being casual and normal.
Rosberg obviously didn't appreciate the gesture and chucked it back like the petulant little brat he is.Typical of someone who schnummed in to a great drive because of a famous father...he might be a very good driver, but let's face it he's had all the doors opened for him.
Rosberg has got faceache because he's had his arse handed to him on a plate....the first corner incident was history,he was leading and fucked up letting LH past to win.
He should man up and accept defeat graciously

  19. I don't see it like that and I'm no Rosberg fan at all (liked Keke though).

Hamilton was not being 'helpful' imo. Rosberg was slumped in a chair, defeated.

Why rub the guys nose in it when you've already done that with skill and determination on the actual playing field?

They are all quite capable of collecting their own caps from the table.

Having the victor sling it at you is nasty shit imo.

Anyway... Bastard shite penalty for Rossi - am disgusted with that too...

Why do I love hyphens and and ellipsis so much? Answers on a postcard to the usual address please...

  20. What's annoying me from all of this is that Lorenzo is being dragged into it all whether he likes it or not, that didn't start post race when he called for tougher punishment(perhaps fueled wrongly by ambition for another title),
it started in the pre race press conference when Rossi suggested Marquez was helping him out.

Now that's kinda Rossi's fault, but being honest I do think that Rossi probably has a point and Marquez may well have been actively getting involved just to annoy, all be it without Lorenzo asking him to.

Now ok, Lorenzo did open up a little too vocally immediately after the race and possibly should've done what Dani P did and kept thoughts to himself, he didn't and that's why he's getting flack.

But I think if we were all being honest, you'd have to admit that Lorenzo is fully deserving of his current points tally and has, without question, put in some of the best performances of the season in qualifying and the races.

He's a phenomenon on a gp bike, there's nobody else on the planet that can ride as fast as he does with the continuity he shows.....nobody (thats pretty high praise)

He started the season slow and has had a mountain to climb, it's a little unfair that the situation is now tainted in the final race, as I said many posts back, should he win in the final race 'some people' will simply suggest it was an unfair advantage.

I actually like Lorenzo and Rossi, the latter is more charismatic by far and I've warmed to Rossi this last 2-3 seasons as prior to that I was 100% Stoner.

However Lorenzo has made some brilliantly sarcastic quips back at questions during the press conferences and I find him very entertaining in those situations, far more than any of the others I hear.

I guess what im saying is that out of the 3 involved here I do feel for both Yamaha riders, they're two characters I like in the paddock and if Lorenzo won the title I wouldn't be annoyed at all, it'd just be a shame that Rossi didn't make it to the 10th as thats a nice little farewell.

Marquez however, I'm sorry but I just don't like him.

I never have and out of all the 'aliens' he's the one most complained about by his fellow peers in terms of racing etiquette and placing others in danger.

I also feel that he's probably had the easiest ride in terms of getting away with moves others would have been sanctioned over......but that's just me, I'm sure he's well loved in Spain :)
