This reminds me of my first Ducati Sporting Club event, Popham airfield - 2003.

A guy who had totally changed the colours only of his 996, unique but each to their own. Roy, this fat wanker, walks up to it, looks at it in disgust and then says in front of the owner “I don’t like that” and walks off....

That’s probably a few users on here....

He was an ambassador for DSC. He might be known on here, Roy, had a base model 999 when they first came out. Had a chip on his shoulder, had a massive gunt, shit goatee and will probably be in his late 60s, early 70s now.

It put me off joining the Ducati groups as a small majority have this idea that they are “special”....

 

you do get that in bike specific groups. the harley owners group springs to mind.

 

Bmw owners group have a bit of a reputation
