The camera flatters. It`s not perfect but it`s not that noticeable. Not in the same way smashed fairings would be if it fell over so I can live with it. Lengthening the stand slightly and sorting the bent and loose bolt on the bracket has made a big difference.
Don't understand. I find it perfectly natural to get off a bike that leans to the left by sticking my left foot on the ground and swinging my right foot round to the right to join it. I'd really struggle to get off to the right side of the bike with it leaning left.
Looks like whoever did had drilled into the bottom of the stand and fixed the black plastic/nylon piece with a couple of threaded bolts/screws, it works a treat.
Yes, it was the bolts (9) that screw into the case. One was loose, the other was loose and had a slight bend in it. I`m going to have a look at the bushing (4) because the stand has some sideways movement, I think it may have a slight oval worn in it. If it has, I`ll either get it sleeved or get a new bush made up. I`m happy with the lean angle I have with the modification I`ve already mentioned previously but, I still don`t leave my bike on its side stand any longer than I have to.
