Their biggest mistake was going in the first place. If they had stopped and thought about they should have known something was not right. Or they new exactly what was going on and they did it for the money. Tragic either way.
They did it... They got caught... Either greedy or stupid... ( Unfortunately terminal stupidity is not a crime ). I, for one, have no sympathy !
Its related a little to this documentary about the English guys held in a Peruvian prison for drug smuggling. One guy in the interview was offerd about 10 grand to smuggle 1.5 kg of drugs, and got 6 years inside. Go figure.
