thanks, it's just had a nut an bolt restoration. I agree, decent kit is essential. My choice was somewhat influenced by the SMIDSY I had a couple of years ago. I still have some lingering effects of the accident two years on, and that was while wearing leather jeans and a textile jacket, I couldn't imagine how ad it would have been in jeans. (It's been suggested I'd probably have lost my left leg without proper kit) I specifically wanted the brightest (and therefore most visible) leathers I could find which would still work with the colours of my bikes. Alpinestars did a similar suit with dashes of fluro yellow on the chest and arms but they didn't seem to go down to my size. I've had RST gear before and get on well with it. For the cub this kit was obviously too sporty, so found a retro Two piece suit, black on the lower half, with the jacket in red white and black. Still visible, but more in keeping with the bike.
