Yes, it was a good afternoon once it dried up, but I agree it wasn't terribly well organised and you certainly couldn't hear the announcements of who was supposed to be on when..... Wets on all morning, bit of a faff to change, then slicks all afternoon, watching out for the odd wet patch (like the 6th gear braking zone into the slightly-fast-as-hell Stowe corner!). But it's a tremendous circuit and was great fun. Almost knee down in the wet for the first time on wets....that was a little bit of a shock...... those things are like blue tack they are so soft..... but it was much better in the afternoon and it was all worth it. Apart from a few red flags, all good. The Wing Paddock complex is very smart - first time in there. It's like working in a hospital rather than a pits! Amazingly though, with all that investment, they made these enormous pits, which are fabulous, but only remembered to put a small bank of power sockets on the back wall! So you have to make daisy chains all the way through the garage! What muppets.....
