Some quick bikes out today. I had a good day, took me a while to work out how to ride a bike again, been 2 years since my last outing Tried to find Alistair to say hello, but failed to locate him

Had a good day, couple of quick guys out there, one on a Pani FE. Kept getting stuck behind R1's and a HP4 race. Managed to take 4 secs off by end of the day.

 

I was ok in the end after spending all day pissing about with the suspension.

I had a very enjoyable day wobbling around and talking shit to anyone who would listen. Took two bikes, the 675 track bike and a newly acquired Pani 959.

 

Does anyone know who was on the Pani FE in red group?

 

Did you take the Pani out in the end & how was it?

 

Yes I did all three afternoon sessions on it. First session I found it real hard work but by the end of the second session I was better and I was smiling after the third. I was quicker on it in the third session than the 675.
It’s very soft on road bike settings and standard suspension so was a bit unsettled by gear changes or me being poor. But today I got it booked into Steve Jordan for a bit of professional set up, oh, and a KTech shock.

 

Yeah, tyre pressures help right......

I run 24 hot, @Expat Jack was running a tiny tiny bit higher.....

 

Was it 34? Can’t remember. Dropped to 28 after his nibs had a word. Then my SC started to look a bit like CRs back in April.
EDIT. And to be fair, I was only out for a gentle pootle on it - well, that was the plan.

 

Lol I meant lap times on gp….

 

I wish, 2:26. Not embarrassing for as 2008 750 though.
