There’s plenty of premier inns available round Northampton if that’s practical. This one in Wootton is probably closest https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/ho...re/northampton/northampton-south-wootton.html
Sorry yeh I didnt realise it was 30 odd miles away but if youre on a bike (and stuck for accommodation) it should be a doddle?
As said above,,take a pushbike. Well handy. Long walk in and you can scoot round in the circuit. Plus, the pushbike queue on race day was well fast, we sailed in with no waiting then pelted to a good spot. The walk in queue was massive and slow moving. You can peddle in to towcester (pronounced toaster, not tow chester as the locals kept reminding me ) for grub without getting fleeced on the campsite. That was a couple years ago, I've not been back since and have no plans to return, it were an experience but it clashes with the manx (covid killed the manx that year) and i know where I'd rather be.
ive found something local for 2 nights and the owners will take us to the circuit and put on english breakfast. result. just need to get the dog sitting sorted.
I've registered for the parking, has anyone received their parking pass to print out? I can't seem to find an option to download it.
‘Day of Champions’ is Thursday if you fancy bidding in the Two Wheels for Life, MotoGP rider memorabilia auction which usually starts about 5pm. Pretty sure the day has open access to the pit lane and paddock although not much rider or team action to look at. Andy
You had better do it before the event, weekend tickets go up on the day and the individual day ticket prices are eye watering. Andy
Wonder if we’ll get any surprise results? Can’t see past a repeat win for Pecco in the big one, which of course was most enjoyable last year. Dixon and lowes will flap under the pressure I expect and Acosta will win m2. M3 I’m going with Sasaki. (so it’s a no from me )
