TBF having no ocean is a bit of a pain in the hole, the lakes are great but not quite the same and it's about a 7hr trip to the med, which also isn't quite the same. The atlantic coast is around 10-12hrs, so hardly feasible for a weekend away!
I would but the gf won't go anywhere near it. Corsica next June though and Brittany/Normandy this October!

The 190 horsepower r1? Always surprises me just how fast a low powered bike can navigate a circuit in the right hands, reminds of been at cadwell on my srad 750 wasn't exactly slow but the classic race stuff that looked dangerous and slow cruised past like on rails
So no more wet racing in Gp anymore then or as mentioned its because of the new tarmac/drainage so not fit for purpose ????
Makes yesterday's accident seem even more pointless and terribly sad for the lad, miller was one of two who wants to race so he said.
