I did wander around quite a bit but had no idea what you look like or what you were riding lol. You will have seen me....dayglo tape holding my leathers leg closed ;£
Great day. Thanks Ducati UK, few faces to names which was good. I too came a looked for you @bradders but struggled a little for the same reasons. My ears are still ringing from the wonderful racket going on all day.
Yeah I ride for heros #22. First time at Silverstone so was kind of feeling my way a bit. Can see I'm going to get into a pickle at race pace, easy to get drawn into some of those corners.
Lol ar right that makes sense. Great set up there. Think it may have been you I followed in the wet session...if he can lean that far, I can lean that far! Lol then a fella fell off as we approached a corner
I had a great day! I was well nervous watching the advance and inters go out first and had a moment where i thought I dont think im gonna hack this! But managed to get hold of an instructor for my first session, had a great time and learned a lot about the track, and my riding. Second session i went off track a couple of times at copse, tipped it in and thought i wasn't going to make it so stood it up. After that session i just tried to relax slow and smooth it down and when I did that I felt more in control, more confident and felt quicker each session. My dad and my mate said I looked quicker in the last 2 sessions so I am well chuffed with that as its my first track day and all Knee is still miles off from touching down though looking at the pics, I can plant it down round an island but i get a couple of goes round until im in my ideal position. I'm hooked though and will have plenty of time to improve. You missed out on the goodies bradders, choclate hob knobs, viennese whirls and daim bars!
