1299 Simulating Speed On 1299

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Cullen, Feb 20, 2019.

  1. You should be able to reset the mileage on the clock you have? They fitted a new clock to my 1299S and had to set the new clock to the old mileage. Surely you could just reset the clock mileage to what you need? (with the right equipment)

  2. Cannot follow? :)
Tend to properly clean/check my brakes every 2 years on the road /track bikes and once-twice a year on the offroad bike.

  3. If you put the back brake on, even a little bit it would over heat and potentially catch fire.
Assuming brake fade just made it fail and not actually have any brake effect.

  4. Paddock stand bearings won’t last with any prolonged speed and load from a bike, they will seize with disastrous results causing your bike big damage

  5. Probably yes...although the engine overheating protection will cut in before the flames will spread:)
In case you did not notice I was trying to explain why this paddock stand thing it won't work......
