Six Nations 2024 - Spoilers

The way the Italians are playing at the minute they could frighten the English.

 

It's worth noting amongst all the vitriol being aimed at EJ that the previous outing for this team was against the World Champions, who they beat.
For large chunks of yesterday's match England were head and shoulders above Scotland in terms of dominance, possession and control of the game. The penalty count was heavily in England's favour, Smith's try was sublime and the England pack bossed the scrum comfortably.
One 'lucky' breakaway try and a moment's stupidity does not detract from an otherwise good performance from a team missing several first choice players that had to be put together on the fly in the week leading in to the game.
Well done Scotland, a win's a win and the score board is the final arbiter of who did best on the day but I for one would not write off Eddie Jones and England on the basis of that performance.

 

That's two flukes in a row for Scotland then.....

 

The white cocks will be pressing the accelerator pedal in the second half, lets hope the Italians can get another try and give them a game.

First up on the pitch today's Scotland against Wales, we know what the jocks have in their armour now based on last week daytrip, let's hope the Welsh have reset for a tight entertaining game.
