What a cracking weekend… great atmosphere great craic met some fantastic people from all over the world and Ireland… shame about the result..
Errrrr No. Watching Ireland play in Dublin is the ultimate RU experience, possibly closely followed by The All Blacks at home. I've done the first but never managed the second.
For all English and French rugby fans, today is a special day. A « Crunch » day, as we call it… And because rugby is such a great and demanding game that should always transcend mere national rivalries, I wanted to share this very special picture of Sir Johnny Wilkinson (what a magnificent player!) and one of his greatest fans. May the best teams win today !
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I managed to see about half a dozen ganes with him playing for Toulon in those great years on the box before he retired. As for the matches i don't see any upsets this weekend unless folk pull their fingers out.!
Well I can guarantee « Tony Bridge » and his mates are going to pull their fingers out of wherever they had them all week, in an attempt to upset the XV of the Rose.
We’ve been there with our previous squad (2010-2020ish). With all due respect to the Azzuri, it’s a nasty feeling when you know they can beat your team if they play well…
