  2. I found the Puig shorty screen a big improvement on my 1200s Multistrada
The turbulence from the standard would shake my head so much it would my my vision blurry
Of course I could have always slowed down, but where’s the fun in that!
    :)

  4. As well as finding knackered water pump gears in the panigale, also found that the oil filter had partially collapsed. Only done 2 track days since it and the oil were changed. Oil was nice and clean, apart from big bits of plastic, so it was a bit interesting.

  5. I have seen quite a few people have gone shorter rather than longer. I'll see how the touring screen works - so far it seems a lot better and then maybe think again...

  6. I know it sounds counter intuitive but it worked well for me

  7. Had a 55mm socket for the rear wheel turn up. It's a big old bugger, that won't pop under the seat!

  8. This afternoon I took the cover off the Bayliss just to admire it :)

  9. I did a really small thing. Watch and hold tools as @cookster fitted my headlight and head fairing back in after I threatened to set it on fire yesterday….

  10. An chance you might fire it up soon?

  11. Could be tomorrow. We were due to go to York for lunch with some friends but they’ve had to cancel because of covid………so I’m free all day. And the sun is meant to be shining :)

  13. As someone that will be stuck behind a desk, on what looks to be a fantastic day to be out on the bike, I’m relying on you taking one for the team and getting out on the Bayliss. And shoving some pictures on here later, to make those of us still working for a living jealous!

  14. Mind you it’s sunny here right now and not a cloud in the sky. But I’ve just been to put the bin out and it’s Baltic :cold_sweat:

It’ll need to warm up a bit before I put my leathers on :motorcycleduc:

  15. Just stopped by Bike Hps near Derby to pick my wheels up on my way home from Bath. It’s taken 2 and a half months for them to arrive but must admit, I’m chuffed!

  17. Just curious,
When I see carbon wheels on here I do think about when the tyres are fitted is it just the same machine that fits them or any special attachment, plus I assume also a good fitter.

  18. I think it’s just the same mate. A bit of protective tape where the clamps touch the rims and a little TLC.
