Maybe a little wee sado-masochism sesson might do the trick for the warm up act. On a more serious note i find with my bad back the movement from the bikeride helps matters, or perhaps i'm just an oddball...........the jury's out on that one.
Got some foldable alloy mirrors fitted on the 959 a long with an AEM top yoke and some K Tech go faster stickers.
Taken the call from the dealer to collect my bike after a major service and some new odds and sods. Desmo, chain, sprockets, performance indicators, panniers, new seat, fuel sensor fixed, new tyres. I'm applying for the mortgage in order to pay for it all tomorrow.
Thank you. No credit to me though. Designed by Ducati UK and painted by Mike at Rage. All I did was get it for a bargain.
Rear wheel off for a new tyre tomorrow , ready for a week riding around Germany at the end of the month . Lidl rattle gun is the best £50 I've spent, a few seconds and the nut is off it's a must have .
Booked enduro to be picked up earliest possible for next tuesday, 35mile journey to OYB. Thanks to bemoto titanium coverage via RAC'
Now it's unseized itself, given it a good spanking on the dyno, and taped up half the radiator. Let's try again at Croft next wek
Has a ride out on the scrambler trying to get the miles up so I can book it’s first service and get the ECU flashed for the Termis I’ll be out all day on it tomorrow too Saturday looks to be a Bayliss day
Fitted a sleeve I had printed, so I can use the proper quadlock stem mount rather than a toggle bolt.
Collected the bike after a Desmo and other odds and sods (chain/sprockets/tyres/fuel sender/led rear indicators/new standard seat to replace the low on the bike/collected panniers left when purchased) and very pleased with it. Evotech rad/cooler/engine guard arrived, with the OEM rear luggage rack to follow on Monday and I will install in one session.
Had a pretty good day riding. Just 112 miles to go till it’s done enough miles for the first service, and I’ll do that tomorrow morning
Pulled the covers off the bikes, took the V2SF off it’s paddock stand, ready for its inaugural ride tomorrow. And fitted some anti glare film to the Zumo, just in case the sun really does come out! Also fitted a 4D plate, not sure if it’ll stay on with double sided tape, but shall see tomorrow.
