Well I managed to sort out the Kreiga short straps in about 10 mins. I’ve no idea why I couldn’t do it about 3 weeks ago when I tried. Anyway it’s all good now. Just need to pack my gear for the US20 bag now. Also I’ve just taxed the Bayliss for a year with the DVLA which administratively was painless. The pain came from having to part with £101.
Get over you big bugger Waiting at donington while the air ambulance does its thing and the police take statements ......
Not heard of the Police being involved in a track day incident before, sounds serious. Sincerely hope no fatalities or life affecting injuries. Andy
At the second time of trying, had a very nearly worn out set of Roadtec 01SE’s swapped over for a less worn set of Roadtec 01SE’s in preparation for a weekend in Wales. Took the opportunity to have 2 new valves fitted, the rear has been sticking for a while and both are OE. Andy
Have you tried using the built in loops in the bag? On bikes with small racks, I just extend the straps as long as possible, then tuck the loops under the rack, and strap it all together that way. It can be a bit fiddly, but saves having to use additional straps, and also looks very neat & tidy.
We should add it to fuel duty……….that way even the Sunday morning lawnmower/strimmer crew would pay the b’stards.
By the government and business, out riding Sunday cheapest petrol price was at Leintwardine, near where I live it’s a lot more expensive.
I needed some petrol for the superlight yesterday before the mot as it kept cutting out, so grabbed a can and put £9.00 in & there was room for more.
That is unprecedented in my admittedly limited experience. Last big one I remember was at Snetterton when a rider was knocked out by a chunk of bodywork that separated from another (reportedly shit) bike. So what is your comeback if utter stupidity is the root cause ? I thought that’s why you are required to sign an indemnity or is that just for the organiser ? Andy
