Finally got the baby R all put back together (belts, discs etc), taxed, MOT’d after a year off last year…
Just done 50 mile on the Panigale and came home, its too hot, the roads are too busy and everyone driving are half asleep.
Been troubleshooting all day yesterday and found out why the main beams on my 1299S headlight weren’t working. Tidied up the wiring and just about finished but still waiting for last weekend’s Scotland trip’s wetness to finally dry out.
interesting i have to take the tacho unit off, can i remove without taking lights off?, just front fairing?
Yes, no need for the light to come off. If you haven’t done it before, set yourself a couple of hours aside.
Yep……..think they steam cleaned it. It certainly looks clean in all the nooks and crannies. I couldn’t give it a proper going over as my neighbour Steve came over for a chat. I’ll double check it tomorrow
Double checked the scrambler and 99% of it was clean. Few caked on oil spots on the exhaust but a wire brush soon cleaned them up. I've just acf50'd the fuck out of it and ran it for 10 mins to burn off the excess. Now for some sun bathing. I might go out on the bike later if and when it cools down
It’s the later, I’m certain he needs no introduction…..especially now he’s a hardcore biker riding the mean streets of ‘orbiring’ on his 50cc SX50. Just fettling his Aprillia RS4 50 for the full aleix espargaro look.
Cleaned all the bugs off & polished it. Degreased and relubed the chain & fitted the luggage rack ready for next week.
I collected these from a friend yesterday evening, i only needed one for the 998, but what the hell we've a spare just incase. They came from Speedcarbon in Italy, thanks for the tip @Sev
Well both the 916 and 996 have a piece missing at the lower region, hence why i purchased two, so it's there for a backup if required when i liquidate both bikes in the future, but i'll bear you in mind if not used.
