(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

  1. What is that please?
Is it some kind of anti-theft thing?
Is it all removed once unlocked or does some of stay in the axle?

  2. Yep, an anti-theft device. Basically a metal "pin" that passes through the axle, through the chain (which itself goes through a ground anchor) and then a padlock on the end. Nothing says on the bike when unlocked. Easier and probably more secure that passing a chain through the wheel. More details on the Pragmasis site; https://securityforbikes.com/proddetail.php?prod=APP-Super

  4. Got my new matt black NXR helmet and put a lovely matt silver Ducati sticker on the back of it.
MrsX said it looked like it was part of the original helmet graphics. Top praise indeed.

  12. Stuck some Grip Buddies on the Streetfighter. I haven't been out with them yet but they seem to fit reasonably well, even though getting the seam just right is a bit of a faff (not that I have  )

e525 return for naked bikes, 600 odd for goldwings,gs,s etc
This is my 5th time using them, depots 10 min walk from airport, they have a depot in Germany too. Makes for a hassle free trip, no ferries, motorways, hotels. No brainer imo.
