  5. I'd be up for that. a decent long run and dipping into his own pocket would be an education for him.:p
Drumnadrochit-Beauly-Ullapool. on a good day you could take in Torridon too. :upyeah:

  6. I used to spend many a summer in a cottage on the banks of Loch Torridon as a kid. Famous (in our family at least) for hairy black caterpillars that made you itch like buggery and Portugese Man of War jellyfish on the rocky shores. Happy, happy times.

  7. Checked the tyre pressures on the PP, wheeled it out, put all my kit on, and the battery was flat. So wheeled it back in, did the tyres on the SF, and that actually started, so went for a 150 mile blast. Was only out for 3 hours, so will tape up the letterbox next week!

  8. I'd the same problem with my front tyre, but no air compressor available in the garage, so i went for it as is.... as you do when short ontime & good weather.

  9. Today was one of those days where I could have gladly sat and read the papers and drank a bottle of wine or two in the garden, but I’m glad I went out. Not many more weekends like this now.

  11. Good job :upyeah:

I’ve tried, and failed, again to regift the fairing. It’s beyond comical. And added a r&g engine protector. And stuck the pani on charge so I can give it a start tomorrow

Then re gripped 9 irons using an air compressor. That’s almost bike, using the compressor…

  12. Double teamed an associate on a trip to the Honeystreet Mill cafe. Have found being led, takes the pressure off the associate and they can relax and enjoy the ride whilst practicing being ‘advanced’. Was bought a bacon roll for my troubles and was delighted to find it had 5 rashers of bacon in it :D Andy

  13. Exactly unless you ride something old or don't care about the bad weather killing the machine.

  15. Okay, an unfortunate use of a term that clearly has more than the intended meaning. 2 observers working with an associate to improve their riding skills. Andy

  20. Moved to it’s new home. Too wet to actually go for a ride, so just washed it before tucking it up in the cosy garage
