(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

They arrived, all fitted this evening. I think these are the only carbon parts that I've bought in 30 years that have fitted properly like factory OEM plastics.

 

Got some goodies for the carbon 749

 

Started some odd jobs on my Triton.

 

Dropped my 748R off at MR (as a rolling chassis and boxes of parts) where, over the coming weeks (more likely a couple of months) it will be rebuilt into its former yellow, roadworthy loveliness. Andy

Yellow is the correct colour for the lower displacement versions, I don’t see your concern.

 

Fixed that for you.

 

And nasty puss oozing boils!

 

Fitted a tank bag ring and different radiator covers (actually yesterday, but took it for a ride today).

 

The menin gate and the last post............food for thought for every soul walking planet earth.

Put a new baffle in my winter bike as it spat the other one out again and I couldn’t find it, also fixed my brake light switch which was just making the brake light flicker over bumps.

 

Dealing with the absolute arse raping from vulturbike, as the carbon chain guard and fairing decals I paid nearly £300 for, including shipping and duty arrived today. This is the last order I shall ever place with them. I am actually appalled and ashamed.

 

Bought a YT12B-BS from Halfords, £55 after trade discount. Andy

 

Fitted new spark plugs to the Nsr.

 

Gave the V2SF a wipe down, as I was going to wash it after the weekend ride, which isn’t going to be happening now.

 

Found the final missing piece of my 748R in the loft and ran it down to MR. Andy
