(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by Cream_Revenge, Nov 15, 2018.

  1. Bled rear brake on the RS 125 after fitting brand new braided hoses, still had the original factory fitment hoses. Took front wheel up for new tyre fitment, MOT booked for Friday 9:30. :)

  5. Stunning
Don't know what it is about your bike that I'm drawn too not unlike when I bought my dizzy

  6. Stripped the engine of my Honda CB250N Superdream, as one of the head bolts has stripped the threads in the upper crankcase

  7. Well spotted... but it's all about mass centralization and weight loss these days so I figure leaving that off gives me room for more cakes, thereby addressing the mass issue and conteracting the weight impact! :D

  8. Washed the shite off my 749 - looked like it had been through a farmyard after my trip to Shoreham-by-Sea this morning.
It wasn’t even raining, just wash off from fields.

  9. Washed the PP, pretty pissed that after just a few hours out yesterday, the thing is covered in tar from our shitty roads. Still, that’ll be a job for one evening in the week I guess.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

  13. After a tough, ten, three minute rounds, I eventually managed to refit the two piece track fairings to the R6 in preparation for Almeria. Andy

  15. Thought I would play with my 1199 on the dyno today. Interesting to compare with the standard 1199 I ran yesterday.

  16. Spoke to Ducati Manchester about delivery of my new Multi but it’s not going to be ready till next Tuesday as the lowering kit needs to be fitted.

I will therefore be going on my Ireland trip on the Scrambler………which is fine because the mileage will be on that and not my new bike :)

Would sooner be on a new Multi though.
Have a good trip and enjoy the Guinness!

  19. Removed the tar from the other days ride, and applied a coating of carnuba wax to the pikes peak.
