Started getting the bike ready for its first proper outing…. Spider Rearsets fitted… Spider engine protection fitted.. Spider front axle slider thingies and some titanium brake spacers and calliper bolts…. Keyless fuel cap fitted…. EvoTech Rad Guards and obligatory lever guard Optimate hooked up Brembo T-Drive discs to be fitted when the new titanium disc bolts arrive! Finally a massive thanks to everyone on here for their help thus far, especially @Android853sp for supplying the mint spider rearsets and for helping suss out that ducati sell a little bracket that supports the heat shield and is compatible with spider rear sets (costs £50 odd with Ducati tax on mind!!) Cheers
Been fighting the front brake calipers, to do a reseal, and bleed, then change the plugs on the FZR400RR Just needs a damned good clean now
Ordered a steering damper for the Multistrada, hopefully it’ll stop the flighty feeling from the front end.
Nope, that was the longest day. Most days are around 150-200 miles now. I’ve got today and Tuesday off the bike as well.
Bought 4L of 15/50, oil filter, o-rings and washer. I collect my bike from Almeria today. So, naturally new oil.
Swapped bikes around in the garage - brought my track bike closer to the door as I have a trackday on Tuesday. Weather, as usual, is looking iffy so tomorrow afternoon will make the decision whether to swap out the wheels for my wets.
My 40 year old battery charger died a week ago so today bought a brand new battery charger from Halfords, just put my M900 battery on charge. Reckon it won’t last a decade let alone 4.
So bloody hot, the water instantly evaporated the moment it hit the ground. Nah, the photos were staged to look good Andy
They don’t exist, bought one a while back utter garbage. I’ve resorted to using a track pump, however that has now worn out but I can at least buy parts to repair it.
