Received the Roadlok from @Billy Big Roy with forum discount, so just need to fit it. Done one before, but I'm not too handy and the spacers tend to baffle me
went outside 3 TIMES to try and finish off some mundane, simple maintenance work on an Ugly, got all bits and tools laid out, started fiddling for 5 minutes and then rain came. 3 *&%@ing TIMES waving the white flag for today.
Made another bracket for the project. Primer on then realised I hadn't got the top coat paint. Went out, the paint shop was closed and I got soaked in yet another bloody downpour. Glad it's beer-o'clock now FFS...
Think yourself lucky. My car went in today for discs and pads and an investigation to identify a water leak. No courtesy car so up at 5:15am to put the Multistrada on the trailer, in the rain. Arrived at the garage and took the Multistrada off the trailer, in the rain. Rode home, in the rain. Got a phone call at 3pm to collect the car. Ride to the garage, in the rain. Loaded the Multistrada onto the trailer, in the rain and drove home, in the pissing rain. Waited until the rain stopped to unload the Multistrada. Still got to go back as the work to replace thermostat housing gasket on the warranty wasn’t authorised in time. Yes, think yourself lucky Andy
Tricky customer I see….. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/28501520...X0jw08iRVS&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Thats why I’ve bought a retractable canopy, saves the bike and tools getting wet and means I can just carry on.
Rang Ducati Insurance to amend my policy to up the annual mileage from 4000 miles pa to 8000 miles pa. Cost me £123 for the privilege
Eventually finished (as much as I'm going to) painting the inside of the new workshop, just need to sort the flooring now
I can prove it. I drank a glass of water yesterday and nothing leaked out. I get some coming out at the end of my willy but that's much later and there's a little hole there for it to come out of. It doesn't come through my skin.
