I appear to have bought a motorcycle lift table, a ramp to get the bikes in and out of the back of a van, oh yeah, I also appear to have bought another bike too
Changed the tuono suspension from auto to manual race setting. Appears for the way I ride my settings are better... Had a spirited ride across Buttertubs Pass just to make sure
Got the table lift in place, my son's Ninja 650 was the first bike to try it Also got some shelving units in there
Had a nice little blast to Hawes and back… Roads were amazingly dry considering all the pish that came out of the skies yesterday Hawes was packed out ! My little 899 was lost in a sea of Adventure bikes and big fat tourers ( and their bikes ) also had a good chat with Kal, the guy from BHP UK he does dyno tuning and ecu work based in Burnley, does some good work check him out on YouTube, tempted to get my Ninja 1000sx mapped as the ecu closes the throttles a bit prematurely imo, would easily Rev on for another thou revs ? Seemed like he had a good bunch of mates with him, they were all having a great laugh Swift ride back home and amazingly for the first time in weeks,….no bike to clean !!
Haha, every time we ride I tell him he needs to try a Ducati. It’s an uphill battle, but I’m not giving up!
Don’t take any notice of me, I’m just joking …I think my “Piss-take” gland must have been over revved on today’s ride and it’s stuck wide open now
Headed to the 998 suited and booted, tried and failed to start it (didn't fire the first few times and it rapidly ran out of juice), cursed myself for not having used the Optimate in advance as I generally do, while wondering whether a 2-year old battery shouldn't be in better fettle ...
a disappointing result, hope it's ok next time. I missed a hospital appointment 8 days ago in a similar scenario as hadn't realised that the battery was defect.
Did 100% fuck all on motorcycles as spent the weekend installing new discs and calipers on my bicycle to cure a recurring squeal.
