Apparently the Multi is fixed now and the recall/upgrade happened effortlessly yesterday after the traumas of the day before It's being delivered back to me tomorrow
Cleaned the tuono and realised that the rear sprocket I fitted was a 520 and not a 525 as ordered and stated. Only noticed it when cleaning the rear wheel as it wasn't obvious until you looked down the chain run. B#£tard.
KTM 790 took for MOT, passed as expected as it’s only been to the MOT station and back in 12 Months. Tome to sell it on.
Made the rookie mistake of going out Saturday, chocka everywhere stopped off to pay for my sins and now home to watch the mgp boys qualifying on catch up.
I went to watch the track day at cadwell but sadly took the van as had brat with me and wanted tyres changed. But good to see bikes going round a track, spurred me on a bit to get mine sorted so got them both out and run up to temperature today. Looking at forecasts won’t be as nice tomorrow so no riding but hopefully the 959 track ready by end of the week is the plan first time I’ve started the 959 with the Akra slip on instead of the dustbins, so much better noise wish I had done it years ago
A nice couple of hours out this morning with my dad and a mate , but my god the roads are dangerous with massive holes and trenches. Then this afternoon I rode the 600ss and then the superlight upto dads to put in his garage for a while before we hopefully complete our move next Friday.
Ordered a Crit Air disc for the V4 Pikes Peak. There are some bloody scammers out there on the internet and they are being promoted by the Google search engine. First hit on the search was some chancer who is clearly skimming your data and charging €50 to apply for a €4 disc on your behalf Yes, right, not a chance For government web sites, www.cerificat-air.gouv.fr was pretty good. Fair play, would take me a day, and then I'd have to take the bits to someone who knows what they are doing...
