Had a first proper ride, after fitting a 14 tooth front sprocket on the Multi 1200 dvt….and it’s a BIG yes from me
Why do I always lose the same bolts. The ones I never have spare of and seem to be so odd a size. It’s always mirror bolts. Little f*ckers! Pani back together, the carbon air tubes covers I bought don’t fit, I didn’t take the holding pin out the abba stand so have now bent the bar. All in all a wanker of a night! But it’s back together, couple small panels to fit and ready for lights test and mot.
Yep - as in, go out...."for a rant" as in Rant engine of bike.... no idea where you were going with your reply...sorry - you lost me...
Dropped uber-light hypermotard subframe down to Mr Cerakote the other day - awaiting pre-porn sandblasted pics and post porn cerakoted pics...
I’ll be honest I’ve never heard of that term for how you’re using it before. Like the other poster, ‘rant’ means to have a moan, short, whinge about something.
First ride of the year to get MOT on monster, which was nice as it was dry and double figures. Then decided the garage needed a big change around. Always like to try something new every now and then, and expect bikes to be used more than car this year so switched them around. still can’t find the pani mirror bolts
Switched the number plate holder the right way round on the GasGas SM, it’s been bugging me why the number plate was sitting proud of it’s holder.
It's a suspension mass damper bought from a member on here. Supposed to dampen down oscillating of the rear suspension giving better traction and reducing traction control interference. We shall see !!!
Helped my son do some more on his GSXR600 track bike project, gear position sensor, bleed the brakes after fitting some Hel braided lines Then, a friend brought her GSXR1000 over, so that we could change the gear position sensor on that too I can confirm, it is far easier to do on a k8/9/10 600/750 than it is on a K9 1000
Saturday but first chance to post. Went out on the Multi because the sun was out. It didn’t rain it bloody chucked it down with hail. That wasn’t in the forecast either. Fortunately I’d stopped off to buy some guttering end caps at the time, so I stayed dry then went over to see Uncle Baz for a cupper. I can feel a big bike clean coming on.
Been working on my Sons Aprilia as it has developed a problem, misfires like fury and won’t manage above 50mph. Checked all the wiring connections. Tested the coil which shows a very strangely high 11 ohms, I’ve checked and it should show above 4 ohms over double seems odd. Time to take the carb off and check if there is a blockage, I was as you do hoping for a simple fix.
