Rode my 748 project bike briefly. Wanted to check it selected all gears. It does which is a real result.
Done a bit more on the Royal Enfield Removed the engine to replace one of the head studs, needed to remove the cylinder, only to find that the stud in question, is a short one, and can be done without removing the engine, or even splitting it Never mind, can do a proper job on the frame now
Met up with @bettes to pick up some wheels from him that he collected from the frozen North for me. Cheers again Ian Watch the for sale board for a pair of Marchesini 5 spokes for 748/9** bikes, coming soonish.

Visited the 3 Daggers Farm Shop in Edington (near Warminster) for an awesome bacon bap and buy some pies for tea. Total round trip of about 95 miles through the Wiltshire countryside on some great roads. Shame we missed a turn on the way home and had to ride through Devizes Still, it was a good ride and great to blow the cobwebs away. Andy
This weekend I'll be attempting to install 998 throttle bodies to 999 intake trumpets with 1098 injectors to my 996
Yesterday went meandering through the Galloway forest and ended up by Loch Doon. Big gusts got exciting going through some of the clearings, home in time for tea.
