We’re staying in Naas on Thursday, Killarney on Friday, Roscarberry on Saturday and Kilkenny on Sunday. @West Cork Paul will be joining us for part of the trip Back on Monday and staying in Middlewich before heading home on Tuesday for a dental appointment.
Actually started to read the Haynes manual for my tiger cub with the rather ambitious ambition of actually getting it running for the first time in my ownership ( closing on 10 years before anyone asks) First up, I'm guessing, is a new battery
Cleaned the front brakes on my monster and had the wheel off. First time I've done either of these things, so I hoped I haven't cocked it up. We will find out when I take it for a test ride after dinner (If the rain stops).
Remember to: Put the wheel back in And more seriously pump the brakes after having had the caliper off, mate crashed at cartegena through not pumping the pads back out to the disc after having had the calipers off...
Got the new tyres fitted to the three spoke 748 wheels. 5 spokes to be sold on. I pay a local chap to do this as I simply can’t be arsed. Got the wheels home to find a parcel. Fork oil. So changed the oil whilst the front wheel was out. Very nearly there for now.
That's where my mate went, came out of the pits, accelerated down the straight, went to brake...pumped like mad but not fast enough....
it’s rained all night. I’ll try and give it a quick spin in the morning. We are planning a ride to Denbigh on Saturday and I want to use it for that. Thanks for your concern though!
