  3. Best things come in threes (especially twins!).
Third ride of the week on a middleweight. These really are my favourite capacity bikes nowadays. My need for 1000cc’s and v4’s are probably behind me. I’m not sure which of the 748, 765 or V2 is my favourite. All very good in different ways. Happy boy.

  4. ^ that's great to read this Anthony? :upyeah::upyeah::upyeah: (my memory is failing)

  5. Had a road trip to Yateley, to collect my latest toy.... 20240511_101537.jpg 20240511_101524.jpg

First impression on a quick visual inspection, it looks quite tidy, needs a few bits, not many though

  10. I returned the 748 back to road-going condition ready for the MOT next week. Number plate, mirrors, indicators, and at least tried to get the rear brake showing some kind of attempt to slow me down a bit... Nope.

  13. Strange you say that we are currently living without a kitchen as it is being re-done

  14. Unfortunately, didn't have time to go for breakfast, I had to get back home ASAP, but, I will definitely make time on my next trip down there

  15. What was the collection ‘experience’ like?

  16. Pretty straightforward really, they open at 09:30 on a Saturday, there were 2 people already waiting when I arrived

Upon arrival, go to the reception, and sign in, when it is your turn, the receptionist will require your driving licence as proof of ID, and the 5 digit item number from the listing title

I won the ebay auction on Monday, received the invoice on Wednesday, paid straight away (you get 2 days to pay, or you will be charged storage fees), booked in for collection on Saturday morning, if the auction ends on a Thursday or Friday, it is possible to pay on collection, without incurring storage fees, although, they prefer payment beforehand

Once all the paperwork side of things are sorted, a staff member will wheel the bike out in to the car park for you

There are notices posted, stating no riding of bikes allowed in the car park, and no dismantling of bikes allowed on the premises

It all depends how many customers are in front of you when you arrive, I arrived just after 9am, they dealt with the 2 others before me, one of which had purchased 2 bikes, the second customer paid on collection, I assisted the first customer getting one of his bikes, one of them hideous 3 wheel things, in to his van, then removed the screen and top box from mine, put it in the van, secured it, and I still left there at around 10:15

I wouldn't hesitate buying another bike from them, and collecting it myself, I pretty sure @Zeus has bought bikes from them previously, not sure if he collected, or had them delivered though

If you are considering buying a bike from them, study the photos carefully, sometimes, not all the damage is apparent in the pics

  19. Yep I’ve had 3 bikes from them and still own them, great company to deal with but throughly look at the photos for all possible damage as Robert has already said. I’ve had all the bikes delivered as it used to be fairly cheap but it’s gone up in price recently.
