(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

I used that to do the same thing on my old 748 about 25 years ago.

 

And you were 50 then!

 

All ready for PPF...

 

Smart. New paint?

 

Just had a few scratches and chips touched in and the panels plus nose fairing relaquered. Other than that, 28 years original... very pleased with the job

 

Got it very dirty. Cried about how dirty it is!

 

Is that rivet leaking on the exhaust collector?

 

Dunno, probably! I’ll give it a wipe.

 

Wouldn’t have thought it’s anything to be concerned about, but worth keeping an eye on it.

 

I noticed it yesterday and thought it may just be some grease or something, but will keep an eye on it.

 

Fitted the balance of the sticker kit to lads 125.

 

Pulled and cleaned out the carbs on my Triumph triple, ran the petrol dry the other day
and managed to clog the jets. Gave them a quick clean out and put them back. Did a test run
just need to coax the airbox back into place and it will be as good as......a 26 year old slightly neglected
bike could be expected to be.

 

Rode through Germany. Got it dirtier.

 

Dropped about 130 bolts plus brackets etc at platers then rode over to OYB to get some heat proof washers.
Beautiful day meant I took the (very) long way home. British bike in British countryside - love it.

 

Bit off script but put new engine oil in the Laverda this morning + removed broken speedo cable.

 

Day off the bikes today

 

About time i drained the tank for storage then let it soak up a few rays.

 

Mot relay today. Took the F850 first and then back to grab the Gsxr, both passed.

 

Got a new Monimoto for the Monster, puncture repair kit for the Multistrada, and Oxford Rainseal waterproofs. Oh and some RST wtaerproof gloves - all ready for the enlgish summer!
