you have to laugh really, most non bike people wouldn't understand, its about keeping it as clean and original as possible i bought a 'CBR' sticker that was £37
Spot the difference..... View attachment 318092 I see a £76 pound difference, small piece of plain black vinyl (free from same dealer who wanted to charge me £38 each sticker), large enough for two pieces, cut to shape, fit to panel Edit to try to remove the copy of the pic Pic to compare is a couple of posts up from this
I put the original cans back on the 900 because the Hawks are too tight on the pipe joints. The originals are tight enough so i) the Hawks must be the right diameter and ii) therefore it must be the carbon build-up. Unfortunately most of the joint is recessed, so I'm going to have to use something that dissolves carbon - and take the fairing off. Clearly there's no need for the sealant. The originals were tight, but could be twisted back on because they're one-piece so one can get the necessary grip and leverage on the big bit. I'll email Pipewerx today to ask what they would have done if I'd gone all the way up there and had them fit them.
There was only supposed to be one pic in that post, as the other pic is a few posts up, no matter how many times I tried editing the post to remove the second pic, it still showed on the post
Had a pair of Michelin road 5's fitted to my street 765 in readiness for a fast approaching 9 day euro roadtrip
Bought another set of rearsets for an 848/1098( I really need to make some brackets to fit the bikes I actually own), and masked off and base coated the 749 darks engine, sand and top coat tomorrow.
Visited Sussex Motorcycles to get my seat modified with memory foam. It’s not really a high tech operation! I’ll let you know how it feels when it’s finished.
Feels a lot better, so I’d recommend them, almost impossible to find though as they don’t have a sign! https://www.sussexmotorcycles.com/elite-comfort-motorcycle-seats.html
