(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

Fitted a Roadlok to each of our 3 road bikes. My V4 Pikes Peak was a bit of a fiddle given the 320mm HPK discs but the kit had everything I needed. Big thanks to Chris aka @Billy Big Roy. Andy

 

You missed a bit…

 

It’s a wash and brush up clean at this stage.
Proper clean up to come after it’s had its MOT.

 

888 MOT'd for another year.

 

Rode out into Wales on the 899 probably did 150 mile or so. The brakes have become terrifying, it’s pot luck whether you get a good brake, a very spongy brake or almost nothing until the very last bit of lever travel. I will investigate it tomorrow.

Being trying to buy one but keep getting outbid

 

They hold value very well and people know it.

 

Two rides out yesterday on yellow & red ones, plus i fitted a new indicator new old stock from ebay on the Smart that was broken by me lifting the cover off.

 

Went with a friend while he bought a very nice rd500lc

 

Bled the brakes on the 899, strangely full of air so hopefully that solves the issue I had with lottery brakes yesterday.

There is one at our local bike night fairly regularly, he paid 11k for his which given some 350lc’s are being advertised for around 10k seems reasonable.

 

Adjusted the chain tension on the GasGas then cleaned and oiled it.

 

That was the ballpark figure
