  1. ....and...
Here's the MAP-sensor info for the £68 Ducati part 55242761A that I should have looked at on the bike before buying one! 2nd image is the 'Ducati' part that I'll fit anyway 'cos I want to do the replacement this weekend instead of slamming it back on the Ducati counter for a refund. Grrrrrr! Screenshot_20210611-124343.png

  2. Passed with flying colours save for some raised eyebrows over the volume of her exhaust. Then, to celebrate I gave her a good thrashing around some of the local country lanes for a while before remembering that my dog wasn't with the sitter but was locked in his crate, so I rather guiltily caned it back home.

  3. Been researching Cardo Packtalk Bold & Slim systems so I can communicate with some riding friends who have them.

I’m as confused as I was when I started.

  5. swapped forks over on Ugly No 3, harder than I thought/remembered plus a carbon fibre front mudguard needs fitting before you fit the front wheel, because it's inflexible compared to std plastic item. I worked this out but then forgot to do it.. it creaked a little and maybe fractured but patience spent at this point.

  6. Spoken to Sportsbikeshop about whether the Cardo packtalk slim will fit my Arai. They’re going to check it out on Monday and call me back :)

  7. Got up early and rode the Triumph to Minehead .

  8. Opened the garage this morning with a plan to go out for a spin after cycling.

  11. Bumped into a biker that lives round the corner from me. Last year he had his Pikes Peak Multistrada nicked from outside his house. Today he told me he’s had his Panigale Special nicked.

So that’s it apparently. He had a few bikes but got rid of them except for a KTM 1290 gt. Let’s hope that doesn’t get nicked.

One more reason to move out of London. Can’t wait.

  12. Went out with a few DOCGB friends.

A new member I’d not met before rode up to the meeting place on his Multistrada so I had a chat with him before we set off again……apparently he moved to the same village as me a few months ago but hadn’t been out on his bike before now as he’d been busy doing stuff to his house.

Seems I’ve got someone new to play out with :)

  13. Tell me, has SlowDave been consigned to the dustbin now that you've a new playmate.;)

  14. Slow Dave knows that he can’t keep up on his bloody great tractor (bmw K1600GT) and that’s its only good for touring. So he’s now ordered a second bike, Honda CB650R, to come out and play with

  15. That seems much more agile than a Tiger tank.:upyeah:

  16. Popped down to see Steve Turner and collect a refurbished front wheel for the R6. Discs to fit and a new tyre but that's for tomorrow. Parcels and stuff being delivered late. Andy

  17. Ordered a Cardo Packtalk Slim duo for me and my neighbour Danny to save a few quid. Should get it tomorrow :)

  18. I know you’re probably trying to keep your phone bill down but can’t you just pop round, or meet on your respective boundaries?

  19. Isn't one of the great joys of motorcycling the fact that people can’t talk to you while you’re doing it? :D
